Glenda's artwork captures the sweet expression and detail of the breeds she offers. Each image is bonded to a 6" square Rialto tile and sealed thoroughly with multiple coats of outdoor varnish. Lastly, multiple layers of glaze are applied to the tile. This makes the tile waterproof and heat resistant. Each trivet features a cork back. The Rialto is extremely durable and not easily chipped and has a "stone" look to it. The transferred image adheres to the veins and pits in the tile to make it look as if it is a part of the tile. Because each tile is different, every trivet will have it's own personality. Artwork that is beautiful, functional and durable.......
